Justice Stewart Holds ‘Inspiring’ Session with Urban Affairs Students
Justice Melody J. Stewart gave students insights on the inner workings of the Ohio Supreme Court and her transition from a court of appeals judge to a sitting justice when she met this week with Cleveland State University’s College of Urban Affairs.
“As a Cleveland-Marshall student, I was so proud and honored to hear Justice Stewart speak” said Mary Grace Tokmenko. “Her new role has not inflated her ego. She is so generous and humble. She inspires trust in her objectivity on the bench.”
The visit was part of a week-long Columbus trip to see state government in action.
