The Honorable Melody J. Stewart of the Eighth District Court of Appeals will be Ursuline College's Constitution Day speaker on Monday, Sept. 17 at 7pm in the atrium of the Bishop Anthony Pilla Student Learning Center.

Judge Stewart, a graduate of Beaumont School and Ursuline College's 2016 Commencement speaker, will talk about her career path and encourage students to vote, participate in the democratic process, and consider running for office.
A dessert reception will follow Judge Stewart's talk. Representatives of Cleveland State University's Cleveland Marshall College of Law will staff a table to talk with students about law school and Ursuline's 3+3 partnership with the University.
Judge Stewart has more than 25 years of combined administrative, legal and academic experience in a number of private and public settings. She has been an administrator for a healthcare management company, a music teacher, a civil defense litigator, and a law school administrator and professor.
Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787.
